TERMS & CONDITIONS

DESIGN-A–WEATHERBEETA COMPETITION

  1. Information on how to enter and the prize form part of these conditions of entry.
  2. Entry is only open to residents of UK & Republic of Ireland who have visited weatherbeeta.com and followed full instructions for entry of the competition. Entry is open to individuals only.
  3. Submission of an entry is deemed acceptance of these conditions of entry.
  4. Promotion commences on 1st March 2008. Entries Close 5:00pm 30th June 2008. Entries received after this date will not be included. ‘No responsibility accepted for late, lost, incomplete incorrect or misdirected entries.’
  5. Each complete entry will be individually judged based on originality, creativity, and suitability for a horse rug. This is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the winner. The judges decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  6. As the winner your submitted idea will be incorporated into the design of a new WeatherBeeta product. By submitting your design idea you agree to grant us a royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to publish and otherwise use the material in any way that we want, and in any media worldwide. This may include the transmission of the material by our overseas partners.
  7. You must secure and provide copyright clearance, in writing, for any part of your entry that is not your own creation. Weatherbeeta takes no responsibility for the entrant’s illegal use of copyrighted material. Submission of entry constitutes a warranty to Weatherbeeta that the entry does not infringe the copyright, intellectual property rights or moral rights of any third party.
  8. Entries that are indecent, defamatory or inappropriate for public display will be disqualified.
  9. Weatherbeeta holds exclusive rights to all entries for the duration of the competition (March 2008 – June 2008).
  10. The total prize value is £1000 for UK residents and €1500 for the Republic of Ireland residents retail value of WeatherBeeta branded products available for retail sale in the UK/Republic of Ireland Market. A representative from Weatherbeeta will arrange contact with the winner to send out the prize/s.
  11. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable.
  12. The winner will be notified by phone of their winning the competition. The winner’s name will be placed on weatherbeeta.com and related media to inform United Kingdom & Ireland of the winner.
  13. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for personal injury which is suffered or sustained, as a result of taking any of the prizes, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
  14. Entrants' personal contact information will be collected based on the WeatherBeeta Privacy Policy . All personal contact details of the entrants will be stored at the office of the Promoter. As per the relevant Privacy Legislation, a request to access, update or correct any information should be directed to that office.
